As Helene is strengthening and posing a dangerous threat to the Southeast we are committed to providing up to date information for specialized carriers.  Please check back often as we will update Executive Orders, Permit Waivers, office closures and travel bans as information becomes available.

*Florida: Most major roadways are clear, efforts have shifted to local roadways.

*Georgia: Rest Area Closures: #63 I-20 East Columbia County, #63 I-20 West Columbia County, #6 I-75 South Cook County.
Most roadways have been cleared of debris with the exception of Southwest GA.

* North Carolina: To report missing individual 1-888-892-1162
I-26 closed at the TN Line
I-40 closed at the TN Line
US-321 closed at the TN Line
No travel in or to western NC, local and hurricane response traffic only.
Asheville area evacuation routes are I-40 east or I-26 east.

Many roads and bridges in upper east TN have been compromised. All roads in upper east TN should be considered hazardous, do not travel on these roads unless seeking higher ground.
Bridge engineers in East TN (region 1) are evaluating bridges for flood damage. Permits that require bridge review may have longer processing time for the next few months.
