23 Apr International Roadcheck May 14-16

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance has announced that the 2024 International Roadcheck will be May 14^th through 16^th.  The emphasis this year is tractor protection systems and alcohol/controlled substance possession, however, officers will be doing full inspections as weather permits. To assist drivers the CVSA has provided an inspection bulletin on the steps to properly check tractor protection systems.

Controlled substance and alcohol use is a major concern for inspectors who will be diligent in looking for the signs of use and possession. The CVSA encourages motor carriers to do their part in keeping our roads safe by frequently visiting the US Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse to ensure their drivers are not in prohibited status.
