Permit America, Inc. is growing and always looking for customer service focused professionals to fill new positions. No prior experience necessary, just a desire to learn. We are currently seeking to fill the position(s) below, however, you may apply for any position.
Current Opening – Permit Consultant
Primary responsibilities will include receiving orders for OD/OW permits and Fuel/Trip permits from specialized carriers via phone, e-mail, or fax. Learn and retain DOT laws, procedures, and practices. Facilitating the permitting process to obtain various permits for clients ensuring compliance with all regulations This is a full-time on-site position located in Frankfort, KY. However, remote positions may be considered.
*Minimal Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Speak and read English clearly, professionally and fluently
- Ability to work within established turnaround times
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
*Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of trucking industry regulations and permit requirements
- Experience with permit management software
- Fluent in Spanish or French
Night shifts are highly desirable! We offer a 10% shift differential for any hours worked between 3pm and 12am.
